Linux System Requirements

Install the connector on client machines where the application is installed. Each client machine that you install the connector on must meet the following minimum system requirements:

  • One of the following distributions:
    • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) 8
    • CentOS 8
    • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 12 or 15
    • Debian or 11
    • Ubuntu 20.04, 22.04, or 24.04
    • Oracle Linux 7.5
  • 150MB of available disk space
  • One of the following ODBC driver managers installed:
    • iODBC 3.52.9 or later
    • unixODBC 2.2.14 or later
  • glibc 2.17 or later
  • If dynamically linked libraries are installed:
    • libstdc++ version 6.0.21 or later
    • GCC 5.5 or later

To install the connector, you must have root access on the machine.

Important:

To connect to Redshift, the connector requires a Redshift account that has access to the Redshift API, and a developer token from a manager account (MCC). For information about configuring your account and obtaining a developer token, see "Sign Up" in the Redshift API documentation: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/signup.
