Configuring Authentication

The Simba Databricks JDBC Driver supports the following authentication mechanisms:

• Using PAT (Personal Access Token)
• Using OAuth 2.0

You configure the authentication mechanism that the connector uses to connect to Spark by specifying the relevant properties in the connection URL.

Note: In addition to authentication, you can configure the connector to connect over SSL. For more information, see Configuring SSL.
