Windows System Requirements

The Simba DynamoDB ODBC Connector supports DynamoDB versions 1.0 and later.

The Simba DynamoDB ODBC Connector supports DynamoDB API v2 to v6.

Install the connector on client machines where the application is installed. Before installing the connector, make sure that you have the following:

  • Administrator rights on your machine.
  • A machine that meets the following system requirements:
    • One of the following operating systems: 
      • Windows 11 or 10
      • Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016
    • 600 MB of available disk space

Before the connector can be used, the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2022 with the same bitness as the connector must also be installed. If you obtained the connector from the Simba website, then your installation of the connector automatically includes this dependency. Otherwise, you must install the redistributable manually.
