macOS System Requirements

The Simba MongoDB ODBC Connector supports MongoDB versions 4.4, 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0.

Install the connector on client machines where the application is installed. Each client machine that you install the connector on must meet the following minimum system requirements:

  • One of the following macOS versions:
    • macOS 10.14
    • macOS 10.15
  • 500MB of available disk space
  • One of the following ODBC driver managers installed:
    • iODBC 3.52.9 or later
    • unixODBC 2.2.14 or later
  • Before you can use the Kerberos authentication mechanism, you must install Kerberos.
