This option specifies whether the connector supports load balancing and failover between nodes in a Couchbase cluster.

  • Enabled (1) 1 : The connector supports load balancing and failover between nodes.
  • Disabled (0) 0 : The connector does not support load balancing and failover between nodes.
Important:

Important:

  • Couchbase Server requires at least three nodes in a cluster for failover to take effect.

  • If SSL is enabled and you are connecting to Couchbase Server prior to version 4.5, the connector does not support load balancing even if this option is enabled.
