Configuring Authentication

Some Trino data stores require authentication. You can configure the Simba Trino ODBC Connector to provide your credentials and authenticate the connection to the database using one of the following methods:

• Configuring Kerberos Authentication
• Configuring LDAP Authentication
• Configuring JWT Authentication
• Configuring AzureAD Authentication
  Note:

  If Kerberos or LDAP authentication is enabled, then SSL is automatically enabled.
