Vizlib Finance Report Properties - Row Styles
Settings for Row Styles control the appearance of the rows in the report. By default, there are four styles but up to 99 can be added. Every style has a number, eg. Regular (0), SubTotal (1). This number relates to the row style number in the excel template file.

Row Styles
You can enter a Label, set a Text color, Background color, Border color, a Border Type, select an Indent and choose to Apply on expanded, set a Font Style and choose Hide Indicator.

You can also enable a Separate Row Style for row totals (Figure 2) to display the row style settings and use them to customize total rows added by the dimension Show totals setting.

Striped Rows
Stripes are enabled in the property panel under Default background (Figure 3), with a choice of Stripes (displays stripe settings, applies stripes to all rows, including expanded rows) or Fixed (no stripes or stripe settings displayed).

Once activated, the user can change color for odd and even rows as well as the color of the text (Figure 4). Colors can be selected by either the color picker or as an expression that returns a color such as “=Green()“ or “=RGB(125,125,125) or even a hex color code.

Expanded Rows and Stripes
Stripes in expanded rows can be turned off/on in Appearance using Expanded background settings. This allows striped normal rows and a fixed color on expanded rows, while different colors can be set for stripes to create a distinct pattern for expanded rows (Figure 5).

Row Styles and Stripes
There is a setting in Row Styles to choose between using the preset background or the striped background setting. By default a couple of Row Styles are already in place.
When enabling striped rows, the striped setting is applied to all Row Styles. This can be enabled or disabled by the user, and each Row Style color overrides the stripe colors when the color is set to fixed.
Measure Colors and Stripes
A color expression in Data / Measures will always override a stripe setting. e.g. the expression '=Red()' in the background color expression of a measure will be used regardless of any Striped settings.
