Properties - Side Menu
The Side Menu settings help you configure a navigation panel which pops up at the side of the sheet. You can add Menu Items to construct your side menu, choosing from Sheet, Text, Group, Master Item and Line.

Side Menu
When you enable Side Menu with the toggle (Figure 1), you'll see a selection of Menu Items listed, with an Add menu item button for adding new or extra items.

You can add KPIs, Filters, and Buttons to the Side menu. These native components load quickly and provide you with more features to accelerate your Qlik environment.
Sheet
When you select a Sheet (Figure 2), you'll be able to enter a Name and choose a particular sheet from the drop-down. You can also set the Top Margin, and display an Icon, selecting one from the pre- loaded list or entering an expression, and choosing the icon Position. There is also a Conditional Show setting which you can enable to only display the item when a specific condition has been met.

Text
When you select a Text item (Figure 3), you'll be able to enter a Name and set the distance from the Top Margin. You can also display an Icon, selecting one from the pre-loaded list or entering an expression, and choose the icon Position. There is also a Conditional Show setting which you can enable to only display the item when a specific condition has been met.

Group
Group items (Figure 4) allow you to enter a Name and set the distance from the Top Margin. You can also display an Icon, selecting one from the pre-loaded list or entering an expression, and choose the icon Position. There is a Conditional Show setting which you can enable to only display the item when a specific condition has been met, and there are also settings for Child Items which you can include in the group with the Add menu item button.

Master Item
If you select a Master Item (Figure 5), you'll be able to enter a Name, and set the distance from the Top Margin. To select the master item, choose an option from the Vizlib Master Item drop-down. Vizlib Sheet Menu Plus supports master items created from Vizlib Filter, Vizlib Calendar, Vizlib KPI, Vizlib Advanced Text Object, Vizlib Button, Vizlib Switch and Vizlib Toolbar objects. You can choose to manually or automatically set the Master Item Height, and there is also a Conditional Show setting which you can enable to only display the items when a specific condition has been met.

You can create a master item, add it to the master items list, then add it using the setup wizard, or dragging it from the Master items menu in the Qlik Sense hub. To find out more about working with master items in Qlik Sense, click here.
Line
Line items (Figure 6) let you enter a Name and set the distance from the Top Margin. There is also a Conditional Show setting which you can enable to only display the item when a specific condition has been met.
