Vizlib Tiles Changelog

Vizlib Actions URL has been updated.

The Mini Chart layer with Bar Chart and Line Chart layer types has been added to Vizlib Tiles. For more information, see Vizlib Tiles - Data - Dimensions and Measures.htm.

The boundaries for min and max of these charts should be possible to set as calculated once per dimensional value. Most of you are probably familiar with this setting now. The latest addition of it allows control of the min and max values for gauges and bullet charts. There is now an option to calculate those values once for each individual Tile.

Keep aspect ratio. Sometimes we want objects to scale in size but squares to stay squares and circles to remain circles. With this setting the size of an element can change in size but remain the same shape. You need to decide if you want it to change when the height or width changes.

Replacing measures with Master Items retain all settings apart from the expression. From this version it is now possible to replace a measure and still keep all the other settings.

Add setting to control page size load (optimization options for both small and larger data). In extreme cases the initial page load was either unnecessarily large or small. For those cases there is now an option to control how many values are loaded. The absolute max is 10k values since that is what Qlik can deliver.

Image update on variable change. There was an issue with included images not updating when the variable changed.

Removing a layer in Tiles Editor breaks visualization. When removing a layer while using the tiles editor the extension would break.

Footer expression is removed if using Tiles Editor. When using the tiles editor on a footer object it would change into the evaluation of the expression rather than retaining the actual expression.

Middle tick values disappear from Gauge layer if "Format as number" is enabled. When using format as a number the middle tick values would not display. The issue occurred when the tick values had decimals.

Gauge number format representation is incorrect when "Format as Number is turned off". The Gauge visualization would not correctly pick up the number format specified. For example this would occur when the "format as number" was turned off and we were trying to use a currency format. When "format as a number" was on it would work as expected.

Using Scroll Bar prevents Tiles from loading. When scrolling, sometimes all Tiles were not displayed. The issue also had a significant impact on performance of Vizlib Tiles in some situations.

Horizontal scroll option (Tiles orientation setting) Vizlib Tiles can now be used horizontally.

To use the horizontal mode simply change the orientation. Note how the settings for pixels are available only on either width or height depending on the orientation.
